i have been on and off sick for awhile now. i tried to make a doctor appointment but the base hospital sucks as usual. long story short i have an appointment on july 25th. apparently everyone i work with is sick (YAY) so no going home for me.
thanks to everyone who took the time to wish me a happy birthday. i really appreciate it. normally i am not big on my birthday but since david is gone i thought i should try and do something.
i learned my lesson.....
this is the second year that my birthday sucked. :/ vegas people suck. thanks to my friends who actually came to support me and celebrate with me! i attempted to have a wine party on the 7th...that was a flop. then i attempted to have everyone meet at PTs...that was a flop, too. i didnt expect a crowd because it was a midnight celebration, but i thought more would come than did. so my deepest thanks to my FRIENDS who came lol. the sangrias were yummy at PTs and i loved all the wine i had on saturday.
life is going..business as usual. i work full time, do homework, sleep. thats my life.
i am lucky enough to have my good friend paul and his girl adriana staying with me. they are good peoples. i am enjoying the company and happy they came to me for a place to stay :) they also got me a yummy red velvet cake and some beautiful flowers! i loved it.
i had a pretty good day today in retrospect. being sick and having a full class is not fun but i got to skype with my hubby and i got to talk to my best guy diaz.
i am so happy that the summer is flying by. it is already the middle of july! thats that much closer to david coming home. he is my entire life. really my best friend, my one person i can go to for anything and everything. we have so much fun together, even when we are separated by half a world. i want to put his business out there for a minute and share a text i got from him on my birthday,
"You're so gorgeous, I can't believe you are my wife."
"I was getting lost looking at you, oh and I like you hair."

he is so awesome. i dont know what i would do without him. he makes my heart smile in every way imaginable. its crazy that after almost 10 years together i still get butterflies for him.
the sickness is setting in at the night hits. its time to settle in and ZzzZzzzzzzz
